ING Wholesale Banking Client and Digital Services is looking to expand by hiring a Ruby e-com payments Implementation Manager to support the Merchant Services team

ING e-com payments solutions provide international and local payments methods - to Wholesale Banking clients to integrate in their web-shop environment. These e-com payments solutions increase efficiency, cost effectiveness and improvement of data overview and costs controls for our Wholesale Bank customers in the eCommerce space.

To obtain the highest level of efficiency gains these solutions can be integrated into the client's ERP and/or EMS systems. ING e-com payments solutions and Client Services teams understand that the client’s organization is unique and dynamic, requiring more than an off-the-shelf product. ING’s experience and client orientated approach allow it to tailor a solution to the distinct business objectives of the customer with best-in-class products that complement and enhance the Wholesale Bank customer e-com payments offering.

Job description

The ultimate strategic goal of the Ruby Implementation manager role is sustainable corporate profitability and growth. The method is to make your customers as satisfied, profitable and productive as possible. The Implementation Manager is responsible for 

Successful implementation of the agreed solution based on the signed contract and pricing agreement. Assisting clients to add payment methods and additional functionalities to an existing setup. Advise clients on set-up options to achieve the utmost from the e-com payment solutions available. Ruby e-com payments Implementation managers are the glue between the client and the success of our product fitting the client’s needs, processes, and client lifetime value. Train and advise clients on using available tools, like Paygate reporting and analytics, Merchant Portal and Inside Business Portal Feedback to sales on relevant performance and needs of the clients.

  • Gain experience in leading complex projects and programs for highly visible deals within Transaction Services
  • Enhance project management, communication, problem solving, influencing and other skills required to deliver complex projects.
  • Develop a broad and deep understanding of ING’s Transaction Services products and services.
  • Senior Management exposure; manage senior ING and client stakeholders.

Your work environment

The ING Client Services team, part of COO Clients and Digital Services, provides support for e-com payments solutions to corporate clients, throughout Europe. Recently established in the HUB SK, the department is set to expand in the coming years, incorporating activities related to the implementation and daily operations of e-com payments and collections. It collaborates closely with the Global Implementation Management department to enhance knowledge and capabilities.

You will work closely with several departments amongst others WB Transaction Services.

Transaction Services (TS) is one of ING Wholesale Banking's (WB) main business lines. We offer a suite of WB products and services to corporate and institutional clients. We are a significant contributor to the growth and profitability of the WB. Our strategy is aimed at ensuring that we continue to support sustained growth for the WB by delivering competitive and relevant TS products.

Who are we looking for

Candidates should be experienced in the following areas:

  • Knowledge of e-com payments products and solutions would be beneficial
  • Interest in the product offering of e-com payments and willingness to learn the e-com payments and collections implementation process
  • You are client focused and have a proven track record in client services or client facing roles.
  • You get energy of translating complexity into easy to grasp, clear milestones and structure.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage deliverables from multiple partners and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a time-sensitive environment.
  • Ability to develop relationships with business partners to ensure objectives are met and client has best possible experience.
  • You can manage internal and external stakeholders at different levels such as treasury executives, employees in shared service centres, finance managers, managers at third party vendors etc.
  • Team player who can readily enable others around them.
  • Must be able to work under minimal supervision and work well under pressure.
  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Competent communicator both written and verbal in English, is required & other European languages advantageous. Must be able to adapt and tailor message to the audience (Sales, Product, Operations, and Client).
  • Effective disseminator of information to key parts of the business.
  • Proficient with Office tools: PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Teams etc.

Wage (gross)
From 3 315 EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providing the information about the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
