As an intern within Digital Investigations, you will work within our team on our Forensic IT & eDiscovery services for ING Global.

The team
You will be working with the Digital Investigations (DI) team, which is part of Corporate Special Investigations. The DI team is responsible for collecting, analysing, checking, and delivering digital traces within ING's IT landscape for internal investigations into fraud & integrity. Next to this, we provide digital support for requests from various legal departments.

Roles and responsibilities
You will support the Digital Investigations team to enhance and further professionalise our services. This includes:

  • Creating documentation of DI existing processes.
  • Identify bottlenecks and make proposals for process improvements.
  • Participate in investigations from intake to completion.
  • The field is dynamic so there is opportunity for own initiatives.

  • You are proactive, analytical, and like to take initiative.
  • You have an affinity with forensic IT and/or eDiscovery.
  • Discretion and integrity are integral parts of your personality.
  • You have good written skills for accurate reporting in both Dutch and English.
  • Bachelor (HBO) level education in a relevant field of study (Forensic IT, HBO-ICT, Cybersecurity, Informatics, Business IT & Management or similar).
