Pricing Analyst (fixed term)

The Pricing Analyst will support the Head of Pricing in the effective management and implementation of the Retail pricing strategy. The activities of the Pricing team cover the end-to-end pricing decision making process ensuring coordination and alignment with all the internal and external stakeholders impacted.

He/She will take part in projects with pricing impacts and he/she will collaborate with different internal stakeholders (as for example Finance, Marketing, Products, etc.) in producing pricing analysis and insights to define the best pricing initiatives to activate for ING customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring the prices evolution in the market through the development and regular updating of market benchmarks;

  • Identifying potential repricing opportunities resulting from changes in regulation, market and competitive developments and technological innovation;

  • Define pricing initiatives, in collaboration with the Customer Intelligence, Sales, Brand and Product teams;

  • Analyzing the impact of pricing changes, discounts and promotions;

  • Developing and maintaining recurring reports and dashboards to track pricing and margin development;

  • Developing of pricing proposals of new products;

Competencies:

  • University degree in Finance / Economics or Business;

  • Strong analytical skills (ability to develop financial / business analysis to determine performance and suitability of pricing initiatives);

  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently;

  • Strong business acumen and commercial mindset;

  • Previous knowledge of pricing and sales practice (inside or through consultancy) is a plus;

  • Previous working experience in the financial or telco sector (inside or through consultancy) is a plus;

  • Fluent English both written and spoken;

  • Advanced MS Office knowledge (i.e. Excel and Power Point)
