Senior Contract compliance consultant

The Infrastructure Strategy Enablement (ISE) Tribe launched contract compliance management team during 2024. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who will be responsible for managing contracts, services for Global infrastructure team within ING. This Consultant ensures the compliancy for internal contracts and third-party contracts together with two other colleagues for ING Private Cloud. This requires the individual to have a pro-active approach and good knowledge of third-party risk management.

The team

The Contract Compliance Management team ensures we are compliant for Intragroup and third party contracts for Global Infrastructure – ING Private Cloud. The team consists of four members currently of which you would be replacing one member. All your colleagues are in the Netherlands. The majority of this team is international, therefore the language spoken / written is English.

Roles and responsibilities

Your role will be essential in supporting the contract owners, Product Managers in managing the third-party and intragroup contracts according to Global Policy and managing cloud services in the future for service managers.

You will:

· Manage contracts both with internal customers and external suppliers to ensure they are compliant with respect to global ING policies and regulations

· Take on the responsibility of delegate contract owner and perform risk and control self-assessments, create exit plan, contingency plan for contracts assigned

· Ensure the right approvals are in place and communication to relevant stakeholders

· Monitoring of both intragroup (internal) and third-party contracts, proactive approach to ensure they are compliant

· Supporting the Service Manager(s) and Owner(s) in consumer meetings, defining SLAs and contracts

· Create/update agreements for internal customers (intragroup) and make sure we comply to the service level agreement

· Stakeholder management and reporting to management on contract and service management topics

· Good at negotiations with respect to both intragroup and third-party contracts

· Work closely with Procurement, ISE Process Excellence team, Finance and other stakeholders

What are we looking for?

· Practical knowledge in contract management or third-party risk management

· You are an excellent communicator and can influence and cooperate with people at all levels

· You are well able to challenge the team and stakeholders to improve the way-of-work and the quality of the output

· You have a keen eye for service improvements

· You have a proactive mindset and lead by example

· You are a team player at heart, you know that a strong team can achieve more than an individual

· Hands-on experience in third party risk management or IT service management

· Ability to thrive in high-pressure circumstances

· Forward-thinking and disruptive when necessary

What do we ask of you?

Required:

· Willing and able to work at ING Amsterdam Haarlerbergpark as your primary location

· 5 years of experience in third-party risk management or contract management

· Strong knowledge in third-party risk management

· Basic knowledge of private cloud / IT infrastructure topics

· Strong experience in stakeholder and peer management in a multicultural environment

· Innovative and strategic thinker with an eye for detail

· Strong communicator with the ability to gain confidence and trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity

· Pro-active approach and able to work independently and deliver with quality.

Good to have:

· You understand IT & Infrastructure Operations

· Hands on experience in IT service management

· Exposure to working in multi-Cloud environments

· Knowledge on the Data visualization tools (E.g. Power BI)

· ITIL certification is a plus

· Previous experience in service transformation programs

· Project management and collaboration capabilities
