Customer Journey Expert - Financial Regulatory Reporting

As a member of the Chapter of CJE’s within the Tribe Finance and Reporting, your mission is to take a leading role in the analysis and implementation of both business driven as regulatory changes in the Finance reporting systems and processes used by the Reporting teams of ING Belgium.


Responsibilities

  • You collect and understand the business needs for change and the regulatory driven changes. You translate them into documented use cases with detailed business and data requirements;

  • You make the impact analysis and you support to the definition of a solution fitting the needs. You communicate this in a clear and transparent way to your stakeholders;

  • You make the bridge with Tech by translating the business and data requirements into a functional analysis and data flow designs. You contribute to the data definition and mapping and you define data quality rules;

  • You create and document test cases and you gather the test data to support the functional and user tests;

  • You support the business end user in the acceptance testing. You coordinate the resolution of test defects and you ensure a smooth transition to production;

  • You develop and/or maintain the process documentation and/or the user manuals;

  • You continuously deepen and broaden your knowledge and skills in your area of expertise within your chapter.

As a Customer Journey Expert Financial Regulatory Reporting you are/have:

  • Holding a master’s degree in (business) economics or a comparable field;

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in a change delivery role and/or banking role;

  • Having a basic knowledge about banking products and financial regulatory reporting (like Schema A, FINREP, Liquidity Rep, etc...) is a plus. Having a genuine interest in these domains is a must;

  • Having hands on proficient level of experience on SQL, Cognos, MS Excel, Power BI;

  • Fluent in English. Dutch and/or French is a plus.

  • You are a self-starter, self-organizing and like to work in a multidisciplinary team: you enjoy contributing to larger projects in collaboration with colleagues in and outside the team;

  • You have an analytical mindset, you take initiative and you are result-oriented;

  • You are a strong communicator and can present your work in a clear manner.

The team

The Tribe Finance and Reporting supports the Finance and the Reporting teams by building and maintaining a broad number of applications and ensuring complete and consistent reports. We are working in a very dynamic and demanding regulatory context and drive multiple change initiatives supporting our ambition to maintain a highly efficient, data-driven and agile organization.
