Senior Regulatory Transaction Reporting
The Transaction Reporting is a significant function in Financial Markets Operations. The team is responsible for delivering large scale transaction reporting implementations, designing, and running a comprehensive operations and control environment to help ensure regulatory compliance working across the lines of business internally and with clients. The team is also the product owner of the regulatory reporting systems and is accountable of the development of the platform.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of operational excellence at scale against an evolving business and regulatory environment. The candidate must have strong control discipline, proven change management experience and deep analytical skills.
Responsibilities
End-to-end coordination of delivery of work within the team, anticipating and resolving obstacles
Ownership of production of daily and periodic reporting obligations globally
Taking responsibility for the end-to-end process including scheduling, quality control, responding to queries and where appropriate supporting the overall governance
Proven subject matter expertise in the assigned area of regulation and provide guidance to other team members and stakeholders
Designing, implementing, and ensuring the execution of the controls needed to help ensure full compliance the firms' regulatory obligations
Qualifications
At least 10 years' experience in financial markets domain
Must have experience with EMIR, MIFIR, SFTR Regulatory Transaction Reporting
Background in OTC derivatives, repo, equities, fixed income, securities lending and borrowing, collateral management
Proven execution with positive impact in a large change role
Experienced controls expert in designing and delivering controls in a complex environment
Hands-on supervision and collaboration skills across multiple teams globally
Knowledge of transaction reporting regulations
BABOK: Business Analysis Body of Knowledge certification is nice to have
Project Management certifications such as PRINCE2 certification is nice to have
Skills
Regulatory change management expertise
Strong understanding of controls needed to ensure complete, accurate and timely reporting
Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, able to work with large data sets and formulate root cause, and action plans
Continuous improvement of the efficiency, scale, and resilience of our operation
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to communicate and influence at all levels of the organization
