A Day in the life of a Head of Performance & Reward

  • Your responsibilities include designing and implementing comprehensive rewards and vitality programs aligned with the ING's vision and values.
  • Navigating the regulatory landscape, you turn challenges into opportunities.
  • Your role spans Compensation & Benefits, involving expertise in reward processes, pensions, governance, vitality, wellbeing, benefits, and performance management.
  • In this influential position, you advise top leadership on all compensation and benefits matters, leading a team of experts in diverse areas.

The team reporting directly to the Chief People Officer of ING Belgium and functionally to the global Head of Performance & Reward, you are a vital member of the HR Leadership Team.

Your team comprises two skilled leads (Benefits and Vitality, Pensions) and five colleagues focusing on compensation, performance, and salary mass evolutions. Functionally, you oversee P&R in Luxembourg.

As a Head of Performance & Reward, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Build a robust network within and outside ING
  • Engage with various organizational levels, including with ExCo and Global teams
  • Self-develop as a result of the dynamic P&R landscape
  • Collaborate with HRBP Leads, Heads of People Services, Talent & Learning, and Communication and thus contributing to shaping the ING People Vision.
