The Mission

Project mission is to secure migration from GBS (old core banking application used by ING Wholesale Banking) to Finacle Account. Once migrated, GBS can be decommissioned.

GBS Decom is achieved for each branch by :

Migration of WB business lines: migration of Lending, Trade Finance engines and FMGT processing (including funding for Lending & Trade) will be removed as well as related product ledgers. 

Cross product functions: migration of Customer data and Workflow management. 

Accounts & related functions: migration Account Managements and related functions (workflows, Customer reporting). 

The execution is a joint effort between the involved ING Wholesale Banking branches and central Tribes; oa. Trade Finance, Lending, FMGT, Cash & Liquidity Management, Data Management, Payments, PSS, COO Finance, Network & Core Banking.

Your day to day

  • Coordinate the planning and execution of the dress rehearsals, data migrations and go-lives 

  • Gather stakeholders and arrange PTA’s to perform the different data migration task 

  • Lead the technical & functional complex discussions with stakeholders. 

  • Translate the input of the stakeholders into (runbook) actions. 

  • Able to plan, schedule and order different migration tasks to ensure on-time delivery/execution of the tasks. 

  • Set-up complex data migration runbook and ensure the actions and issues/findings are followed up timely. 

What you’ll bring to the team

  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience with program/ project management in Banking products (nice to have: experience with Loan products or Trade Finance engines);

  • Change expert who can manage complex migration projects (Data migrations / application Go-live's );

  • Strong technical expertise in general banking architecture, systems, and integrations.

  • Organisational knowledge/ working in large corporate environment;

  • Good relationship building and communication skills and the ability to influence a variety of people across the business;

  • Ability to engage effectively with both business, operational and technical stakeholders;

  • Understanding of the core banking systems / account management processes is a plus;

  • Strong analytical, Problem Solving, influencing and learning skills;

  • Bachelor / Master’s degree;

  • Excellent level of English.
