IT Project/ Programme Manager

We are looking for you, if you:

  • have around 5 years of experience as Project Manager (planning, managing and implementing projects), preferably in IT field,
    International project-experience is a must have.
    The candidate should demonstrate capability in planning, managing, and implementing complex projects.
  • are proficient in English and feel confident in presenting and reporting to a broader, diverse audience,
  • have excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills,
  • have fast adapting personality with a strong sense of taking responsibility,
  • work independently and have structured way of working, combined with flexibility and organizational skills,
  • have ability to work under pressure to strict deadlines and to cope with a rapidly changing environment,
  • have very good proficiency with MS Office, especially Power Point and Excel.


English level: C1

You'll get extra points for:

  • experience with and understanding of IT Security topics,
  • demonstrated ability to influence, persuade and negotiate,
  • knowledge of meetings facilitation techniques,
  • degree/ training/ comparable qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.


Your responsibilities:

  • lead the planning and implementation of IT projects, setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress,
  • ensure that projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and budget,
  • develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports,
  • manage relationships with clients, stakeholders, and external vendors,
  • identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and effective solutions,
  • travel - as required for project needs and stakeholder engagement.


Information about the squad:

Our squad provides end-to-end project management in IT security area. We follow Agile approach and mindset cooperating within whole ING Group.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “IT integrator III”.
