Oracle Database Developer - Financial Markets

We are looking for you, if you have:

  • around 2-3 years of experience with SQL/RDBMS, specifically Oracle,
  • experience in the design and implementation of data handling processes (ingestion, transformation, modelling,and storage),
  • experience in Python and shell scripting,
  • working knowledge of  CI/CD,
  • continuous Improvement mindset - you like to challenge yourself and the team,
  • team player attitude with very good communication skills.

English level - B2

You'll get extra points for:

  • basic knowledge and experience in Agile (ex. Scrum methodology),
  • analytical approach to problem solving,
  • knowledge of Exchange Listed products within Financial Markets isa plus.

Your responsibilities:

  • build supporting tooling and procedures needed for data processing and monitoring activities,
  • implement available automations for data movement processes,
  • ensure delivered workflows and processes meet expected quality outputs through conducting and automating testing,
  • document specs and implementations of deliverables,
  • implementation, improvement and management, the release pipeline including automated testing (functionally, non-functionally),
  • design, implement and maintain data workflows, ETL processes, and pipelines to move identified data intotarget platforms for further consumption and integration as required by product owners.

For our team in Poland, we are looking for a Oracle Database Developer - technically passionate, solution-focused and able to contribute to design and development of a platform.

Our team is a part of the Financial Markets & Group Treasury Investing IT area of ING. We are responsible for development and maintenance of the system used in the Financial Markets and Global Treasury. Team is dedicated for Financial Markets Equities and Commodities platforms with stakeholders round the world.

With your passion for Financial Markets and engineering skills you contribute to keep critical Financial Markets applications stable, secure and performant.

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
