Our Corporate Sector Coverage team is seeking a motivated and experienced Relationship Manager to help grow our corporate banking business. This role will focus on building relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction, and collaborating across various platforms to deliver tailored solutions that meet client needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Growing our corporate customer base through prospect acquisition while deploying ING's differentiators.
  • Selling a full mix of ING's wholesale products, including specialized offerings.
  • Leading the customer relationship, ensuring the bank's compliance with KYC/CDD regulations, and managing the credit risk process.
  • Collaborating with Product, PAM, and Sector teams to meet revenue targets and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Supporting professional development through Commercial Excellence initiatives.
  • Utilizing Salesforce for customer relationship management and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal, credit, and risk management standards.

In this position, you will:

  • Build-up and grow individual customer portfolios within defined target markets.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans for customers, optimizing product mixes.
  • Interface with customers on daily banking needs, including cash management and loan agreements.
  • Lead the credit initiation process, including structuring, approving, and maintaining credit lines.
  • Ensure all customer activities are compliant with local and international regulations.
  • Provide reports and meet benchmarks according to KPIs.

Requirements:

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience preferably in corporate banking, in a relationship management role.
  • Fluent in business English.
  • Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills.
  • Demonstrates high ethical standards 
  • Strong knowledge of corporate banking products and services, with proven ability to match customer needs to bank offerings.
