Your mission is to empower ING’s Retail business with advanced reporting tools, high‑quality data, and actionable insights. You will drive sales performance management by delivering accurate analytics, modern data solutions, and intuitive dashboards that enable informed decisions, optimize commercial strategies, and support sustainable growth across all sales channels.

About the Team

You will join a team dedicated to enabling data‑driven decision making across ING’s Retail organization. We work closely with Sales, Retail Tribes and technical teams, fostering a collaborative, learning‑oriented environment. Our focus is to build scalable, intuitive, and insightful reporting ecosystems that simplify complexity, enhance transparency, and empower sales channels to deliver meaningful value to customers.

Your day to day


• Design and enhance Power BI dashboards and reporting tools to provide clear, actionable insights for retail sales performance.

• Lead and support data migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance throughout the process.

• ​Own the implementation and execution of the sales commission framework for assisted sales channels, including monthly commissioning processes and SOX‑compliant controls.
• Draft structured business requirements for databases, reporting flows, and data visualization solutions, collaborating closely with IT and business stakeholders.
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets from multiple sources.
• Monitor key retail sales KPIs, identifying trends, performance gaps, and opportunities to support strategic and tactical decisions.
• Automate reporting processes and workflows to increase efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Sales, Retail Tribes, BI, IT, and Data teams to ensure seamless integration of new tools and data sources.
• Deliver ad‑hoc analyses to support commercial initiatives, campaigns, budgeting and forecasting cycles.
• Ensure alignment with data governance standards and maintain high levels of data security and accuracy.
• Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry advancements, including AI‑driven analytics, and recommend enhancements to reporting models and data practices.
• Present insights clearly and confidently through visual storytelling that accelerates decision-making.

• Act as an enabler of retail KPIs, ensuring performance management tools support ING’s commercial goals.

What you bring to the team

• University Degree.
• Strong Power BI expertise — advanced dashboards, DAX, data modeling, and the ability to turn complex KPIs into clear visual narratives.
• Advanced SQL knowledge — capable of working with large, complex datasets.
• Business ownership mindset — able to act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for data initiatives and align business needs with technical solutions.
• Ability to draft clear business requirements for reporting, data management, and sales performance processes.
• Strong data testing and validation skills to ensure accuracy and reliability.
• Ability to connect the dots — designing effective data usage processes that support KPI delivery across sales channels.
• Analytical and strategic thinking — interpret trends, identify insights, and translate findings into recommendations.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders across Sales, Retail Tribes, BI, and IT.
• Team player with a proactive mindset — committed to ownership, continuous improvement, and helping colleagues succeed.
