As experienced IT Integrator you will drive change delivery for key Risk IT systems of the bank. Functionally you’ll touch the whole bank and have a solid view on the full chain to maximize value for our users, minimize technical waste and to keep the bank safe & compliant. Technically you touch state of the art new software architectures, learn how to merge that in existing applications, get familiar with hybrid on premise and off premise solutions. There is a lot to learn you may not find somewhere else.

The team

You will be part of a Chapter of IT Integrators working for the Risk domain in the Tech domain of Finance & Risk. The role is Amsterdam HQ based, whereby we apply a hybrid setting of working from office and home. 

Role and responsibilities

As experienced IT Integrator you play a pivotal role in the change delivery of complex epics and features within and across Tribes. Your holistic view as well as your knowledge of both Business and IT are crucial in the translation of business requirements in a sequence that delivers customer value as early as possible. Your success is not based on your hierarchical position, but based on your strong communication and collaboration skills, your results delivered, your extensive knowledge of current and future state and your added value for ING and for the teams you work with.

  • You drive complex changes within and across Risk and have a strong delivery drive to get things done

  • You demonstrate understanding of IT concepts and have significant knowledge of the IT landscape

  • You prepare and support the decision-making process with senior leads in the organization. You are not afraid to challenge solution directions and have clear focus on value to be realized and the architectural direction of Tech.

  • You define the problem statement and slice complex epics into features that can be digested and developed by squads

  • You define and align the roadmaps between squads and other stakeholders in the organization and thoroughly manage dependencies

  • You guide and challenge squads and other stakeholders when making implementation choices

  • You identify and manage risks & potential issues and offer improvements across tribes.

  • Passion for IT

  • Proven track record in reducing complexity and delivering complex tech initiatives in a global organization

  • Good in organization, communication, presentation and documentation. Self-driving and hands-on.

  • Experience in refining features and executing roadmaps

  • Results-oriented, always striving for maximal consumer value as early as possible

  • In depth IT application, IT infrastructure and feature knowledge. Experience in Risk, Data Warehousing, Data Engineering, and Reporting is a pre

  • Continuous improvement mindset and problem-solving skills to find creative ways of driving progress and removing impediments
