Independent and responsible role as Transaction Services Expert Sales Specialist for ING Checkout

As an Expert Sales Specialist for ING Checkout at ING Business Banking, you will be responsible for advising and closing deals in the field of TS (primarily Payments & Cash Management) with Business Banking clients and prospects. In this specific role you work in a team of skilled experts in the field of online payment solutions for our new proposition ING Checkout, servicing a wide range of our Business Banking clients. You have knowledge of and experience in the field of online payments and Payment Service Providers. For this specific role you will use that experience to initiate new developments in both sales and product proposition. Your know-how of the payments market encompasses knowledge of the technical and integration side of this proposition such as CMS’s, TPSP’s, integration partners, etc.

Your activities and duties will be (amongst others, since it’s a very versatile and changing environment):

• Analyzing the Ecommerce and online payment market; finding out what sectors and prospects to target best
• Developing market approaches to get a strong foothold in the market
• Making tailormade pitches to sell our proposition to potential clients
• Cold calling and reaching out to prospects to tell them about ING Checkout and its benefits and upsides compared to ‘regular’ PSP’s
• Working together with ING sales colleagues – both in SME and MC – and assisting them with their client pitches
• Putting ING Checkout on the map as a mature and solid market player in the competitive world of online payments between other players like Buckaroo, MSP, Mollie and Adyen

Sales will be challenging in this mature market, but if you are a persistent salesman or woman up for such a challenge then you will be at the forefront of ING Checkout’s success, contributing to ING’s biggest new proposition of the last 10 years!

In terms of subject matter and analytics, you are an expert who truly excels in Transaction Services. But you also have the personality and (commercial) skills to interact directly with clients and prospects at different levels and to successfully complete deals. In addition, you will have a natural tendency to proactively expand the TS services among existing customers and to bring the TS proposition of ‘ING Business Banking to the attention of new customers in an appealing way. And because you closely follow trends and developments in the market and in your own field, you will always succeed in exceeding customers' expectations in a positive way.

Furthermore, you must

• Have you completed a higher professional education (WO)
• Have relevant work experience in the field of online payment solutions.
• You have a strong affinity with and knowledge of IT, specifically relevant to the PSP market;
• You are a native Dutch speaker and have an excellent command of English language, both verbally and in writing.
• You are currently living in the Netherlands or have a work permit for the EU.
