We are looking for you, if you:

Are a skilled MQ Administrator with passion for learning new technologies and:

  • Have experience in IBM MQ problem resolution / troubleshooting,
  • Have proven experience with IBM MQ installation, configuration, and maintenance,
  • Have strong knowledge of MQ objects and their configuration,
  • Proficiency in using MQSC for administrative tasks,
  • Are able to document processes and maintain system configurations accurately,
  • Have experience in administrative activities using MQSC, monitoring channels, listeners and queues on Queue Managers,
  • Have experience with monitoring tools and log file analysis for problem determination,
  • Experience with SSL configuration (certificates management),
  • Are ready to work with 24/7 oncall support to meet client requirements,
  • Have experience with MQ flows creation,
  • Speak English at least at B1 level,
  • Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills,
  • Can communicate effectively and efficiently,
  • Have strong analytical and troubleshooting skills,
  • Have excellent communication and documentation abilities,
  • Are able to work independently as well as part of a team.

You will get extra points for:

  • Experience with high availability MQ environment (eg. RDQM),
  • Experience with IBM MQ AMS,
  • Azure DevOps/GIT,
  • Scripting experience with one or more scripting languages or automation solutions (Ansible, Python, or PowerShell) to automate routine tasks,
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies and an understanding of system reliability, scalability, and fault tolerance,
  • Experience in managing security requirements.

Your responsibilities:

  • Installation, configuration, integration and maintenance of IBM MQ,
  • Configure MQ objects,
  • Log analysis related to IBM MQ,
  • Check and set MQ Authorities.

Information about the squad:

The squad you will be working is a team responsible for managing cloud infrastructure for various ING Hubs clients. The Team is supporting BAU activities and is additionally involved in multiple projects

The role naming convention in the global ING job architecture will be “Engineer III”.
