Leads a chapter, sets the standards for the chapter area and takes responsibility for developing, innovating and safeguarding knowledge in the field of expertise to deliver technical activities related to the continuous delivery of working services for the organization and its customers. Develops and leads people to meet both their individual goals, career goals, organization's goals. Delivers and maintains IT applications and services in order to realize the organization's strategy in the field of information technology.

Responsibilities:

Technical Leadership:

  • Contribute as a Tech Lead or Individual Contributor to infrastructure products, focusing on scalability, automation, and performance improvements.
  • Architect, implement, and operate platform solutions, such as infrastructure-as-code and automation practices
  • Ensure the resilience, performance, and security of platform solutions.

People Management:

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, focusing on their professional development and performance.
  • Conduct regular meet-ups and retrospectives to foster a collaborative and continuous improvement culture.
  • Handle HR responsibilities, including performance management, training plans, and remuneration.

Collaboration and Innovation:

  • Work with peers to overcome challenges and drive innovation within the team.
  • Co-create the vision for the platform area and ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Analyze market trends and adjust strategies to stay ahead in the field.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience in platform engineering or infrastructure automation.
  • Proficiency with tools like Terraform, Ansible, and cloud platforms (preferably Azure).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, and observability practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with a focus on agile methodologies.
