About CMA
CMA was established in 2023 as the single centre of excellence for our advisory business and related financing across ING, incorporating Corporate Finance, Acquisition Finance, Global Capital Markets (incl. Asset Securitization and Ratings Advisory), Corporate Investments and Loan Distribution Group. CMA aims to capture opportunities in our clients’ boardrooms for high value-added fee and advisory services and improve internal alignments to accelerate the strategic ‘must-win’ on capital velocity. 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide support for origination efforts in the financial institutions ("FI") sector
  • Assist in originating and marketing of FI advisory mandates including for M&A, investment and bancassurance transactions
  • Lead the development and drafting of pitch books and other marketing materials 
  • Closely liaise and work together with other ING teams and departments to optimally service clients and source opportunities

  • Provide support and day-to-day leadership on all aspects of transaction execution
  • Project management including overseeing day-to-day activities
  • Lead and supervise financial modelling and other financial analysis
  • Draft transaction-related documents such as teasers, information memorandum, bid letters and other transaction documents, where applicable
  • Assist in managing client relationship, liaise with relevant authorities and other professionals
  • Quality control. Review all work performed by junior colleagues and obtain requisite internal sign-offs

  • Assist in the training and development of junior colleagues

  • Adhere to relevant ING policies and procedures and applicable regulatory requirements for Corporate Finance, including timely and satisfactory completion of required regulatory, licensing and Compliance training modules

SEPCIAL DUTIES

  • Cross-sell and promote other products / services of the bank, as appropriate, to clients
  • Collaborate with other ING departments and country teams on joint marketing initiatives with clients
