Junior Rates Trader

Key tasks:


• Dealing in fixed income and rates instruments to maximize the return, within set risk framework.
• Taking and managing propriety risk position considering professional market analysis and risk limits.
• Recording transactions correctly, timely and completely in front office systems.


Required skills and behaviour:


• University degree in Economics, Finance, Engineering, Math, or Physics
• Adequate computational skills
• Proper attitude towards risk taking – ability to weight possible outcomes in
• Probabilistic way and take appropriate action under stress scenario
• Self-discipline and control
• Ability to work under stress for prolonged periods
• Ambition to become financial markets trader
• Keen interest in markets : financial, commodity or crypto
• Fluency in English
Stock exchange Exam or ACI Diploma would be a plus
