As a Junior Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the reliability and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to understand the application features and contribute to continuously improving testing processes.

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using appropriate frameworks and tools.
- Collaborate with developers and QA team members to identify test requirements and design effective test cases.
- Participate in the review of requirements and technical specifications to ensure testability.
- Manual testing is conducted when necessary to support automation efforts.
- Identify, record, and track software defects using issue-tracking tools.
- Assist in analyzing test results and create detailed reports on test outcomes.
- Continuously learn new testing tools and methodologies to improve software quality assurance processes.
- Contribute to the development of testing best practices and guidelines.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Familiarity with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Basic understanding of programming languages like Java or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and quality assurance processes.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
