Key Responsibilities


As a Business Analyst within the Cost Distribution area, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the innovation and standardization of the cost distribution processes of ING, in particular the cost modeling for internal charging.

You will drive
• Translate requirements from the user community into solution designs;
• Work together with TECH engineers in the squad, test and implement functional changes;
• Configuration of the application, assessing performance;
• Pro-actively work on changes, take ownership for end-to-end delivery;
• Create efficient data flows that fits the target architecture and data landscape;
• Assessing and solving issues and incidents;
• Maintain dialogue with internal stakeholders;
• Stimulate and promote the use of transparent cost modeling;
• Data & process analysis (together with stakeholder reviewing the datamodel and analysing
and improving processes);
• Create and review documentation to improve acceptance and maintenance of the cost models


Key Capabilities/Experience & Minimum Qualifications


We are looking for a senior and all-round business analyst with IT skills and proven experience in the Finance domain. Someone who is capable of quickly understanding a complex environment and system landscape. Someone who enjoys working in a team of highly skilled professionals.


• Strong analytical skills, accurate and critical mind-set;
• Bachelor/Master in a field which has equipped you with relevant knowledge and skills;
• At least 4-5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in Banking;
• Experience in the Finance domain, preferably within Controlling / Management Accounting,
especially in cost modeling, cost allocations and/or VAT processes;
• Strong affinity with Technology and IT, capability to understand data processing;
• Experience with Business Intelligence tooling such as ETL Tools or Power BI; CostPerform
expertise is a plus;
• Ability to work together with professionals from different backgrounds and cultures;
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Fluency in English both written and verbal (work language);
• Team player with can-do mentality, pro-active attitude and problem solving skills
