Key Responsibilities

NFR Specialist III will be expected to perform the following activities:

  • Incident (Events) Reporting - involved in arranging the events registration and follow up on open / outstanding events, post-monitoring review of case completed / closed events, periodic status updates for open events and provide outstanding events reports to management and Local / Regional ORM.
  • Issue and Action Tracking – involved in registration and amendment of risk findings (issues) in iRisk, periodic status updates for outstanding issues and provide outstanding issues reports to management and Local / Regional ORM.
  • Key Risk Indicator (KRI) Reporting – coordinate and collect KRI Data from each of the data providers from the 1st Line of Defense (1LoD), quality check the consistency of the data submitted, gather data, prepare and provide periodic KRI reports to Local / Regional ORM and manage quarterly KRI data quality review and yearly KRI evaluation process.
  • NFR Information Pack -   prepare and provide monthly and quarterly NFR dashboard reports for each branch / location.
  • Management of Risk System - ensure accuracy and completeness of risk data stored in the risk system. As requested by the Business Partners, perform user access management activities, answers queries or provide training to end users, validate or enrich risk data, map risk data and objects, generate reports, perform data quality checks and test proposed system changes.
  • Serving as 1st Line Support for System administration - uses a more critical user role in the iRisk system to administer changes that cannot be done by regular users
  • NFR Reporting – system generation, analysis and reporting of non-financial risk events and related information necessary for internal business use and compliance purposes

NFR Specialist III will also need to perform the following to support the delivery and management of services:

  • Internal quality checks
  • Creation or challenging of root cause analysis of service delivery issues
  • Changing or improving team's processes
  • Facilitating team or stakeholder meetings
  • Organizing and coordinating projects at a wider or Global level
  • Guiding more junior or less tenured colleagues in completing deliverables
  • Gathering data, interpreting, and making recommendations for business decisions
  • Any other responsibilities essential to the functioning of the team, department or company as a whole as discussed and agreed with the Leads

Key Capabilities/Experience

  • Has solid banking experience reaching process expert or SME level
  • Has operational risk management and project management experience
  • Has worked with global teams and able to present and manage senior stakeholders
  • Has worked and led projects with a team composed of at least 5 people
  • Application set-up, reporting, user support and knowledge of GRC application, IBM Cognos will be key advantage for the role

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 8 years total experience working in banking or financial services
  • At least 2 years of non-financial or operational risk management experience including working with related systems and reporting
  • Knowledge of GRC application, IBM Cognos will be key advantage for the role
  • Knows to interpret, visualize and present data for a large or international audience
  • With strong communication and organization skills
  • Likes to work in a dynamic environment and knowledge of agile way of working (Scrum) is an advantage
  • Has led initiatives with a small working group
  • Amenable to work in a rotational shifting schedule with latest at 3PM to 12MN
  • Amenable to work in a rotational hybrid set-up (partial work in office and work from home on some days depending on team arrangement)
