We’re looking for an experienced Vendor Risk & Relationship Managerto own and strengthen criticalthirdpartypartnerships within a highly regulated environment. This role sits at the intersection of procurement,riskand relationship management—ideal for someone who can confidently challenge vendors whilemaintainingstrong, trusted partnerships.

You’llplay a key role in ensuring suppliers meet regulatory obligations (including CPS230), while managing risk,performanceand governance across the vendor lifecycle.

You’lltake accountability for the full vendor lifecycle, ensuring suppliers meet regulatory obligations (including CPS230) while delivering strong commercial and operational outcomes. From onboarding and risk assessmentsthrough toperformance management and contract renewal,you’llplay a key role in protecting theorganisationandoptimisingvendor value.

This is a hands-on role that requires balance—someone who enjoys building relationships and having robust, honest conversations with suppliers, but is equally comfortable spending time inthe detail. Whetherit’sreviewing contracts, assessing business continuity and disaster recovery plans, or completing risk assessments,you’llbringrigour,structureand accountability to third-party management.

  • Lead end-to-end third-party vendor management, from onboarding through to contract renewal and performance oversight

  • Conduct detailed supplier risk assessments (RCSA), including evaluating continuity, disasterrecoveryand regulatory compliance (CPS230)

  • Build and manage senior stakeholder and vendor relationships—confidently challenging performance and driving accountability

  • Partner with procurement on contract negotiation, SLAs, and improving commercial outcomes

  • Monitor,reportand continuously improve vendor performance, riskcontrolsand governance frameworks

Whatwe’relooking for….

  • Proven experience in procurement and third-party supplier/vendor management within a regulated industry (banking, insurance, telco,utilitiesor pharma)

  • Exceptional understanding of third-party risk frameworks, with working knowledge of CPS230 requirements

  • Experience performing supplier risk assessments (RCSA) and managing outsourcing or vendor risk obligations

  • Highly detail-oriented, with the ability to deep dive into contracts,controlsand governance (e.g. business continuity & DR plans)

  • A balanced skillset: confident relationship manager who can pick up the phone and influence, but equally comfortable with the “desk work” (risk assessments, reporting, renewals)
