Are you a creative student who lives and breathes social media? Do you spend more time on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or emerging platforms than you'd like to admit? And do you love turning ideas into content people actually want to watch?

Then the Brand & Social team at ING Nederland is looking for you.

As our intern, you'll help shape ING's presence on social media. From brainstorming the next viral concept to creating content with creators and supporting major campaigns, you'll be at the heart of our social team.

What you'll do

  • Develop creative concepts for social media content.
  • Help create content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms.
  • Film, edit and publish short-form video content.
  • Spot trends, memes and creator opportunities.
  • Help with scheduling content on the homepage and the newsletter
  • Support influencer and creator collaborations.
  • Write social copy and captions.
  • Help manage community engagement and social conversations.
  • Support large-scale campaigns, brand activations and always-on social content.

Who you are

  • A HBO/WO student in Communication, Creative Business, Marketing, Media, Design or a similar field.
  • Passionate about social media and internet culture.
  • Creative, proactive and full of ideas.
  • Comfortable using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro / Photoshop or similar editing software.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
  • Not afraid to take initiative and challenge the status quo.

Bonus points if you:

✅ Have your own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube channel.
✅ Already create content for brands, student associations or personal projects.
✅ Understand what makes content perform organically on social media.
✅ Interest in learning about newsletters and CMS systems (homepage)

  • Internship allowance of 700 EUR based on a 36 hours work week

During the duration of your internship at ING, it is mandatory to be enrolled at a Dutch university (or EU-university for EU passport holders).
