ING Commercial Finance (or ‘ING ComFin’is part of ING Lease Belgium and offers
receivables financing services to both ING’s Business Banking and Wholesale Banking clients. The company has realized an impressive growth over the past decade, reinventing itself several times to always stay ahead of market evolutions and client expectations. Become part of our dynamic team and join as our new Sales/Relationship Manager. Responsible for both new business and a portfolio of existing clients, your drive and enthusiasm will help us bring the business to the next level.

Your key responsibilities
Bearing end responsibility for your dedicated client portfolio
You combine a natural commercial flair with a good sense of risk.
You establish a strong, long-term relationship with your clients.
You always deliver in time on periodical credit reviews, risk prevention actions, covenant monitoring.
You take the lead in structuring complex working capital transactions and you find (or negotiate) appropriate solutions when challenges arise.
Enhance the profitability of your client portfolio.
You sign new deals in close cooperation with ING Bank, who acts as your main client supplier for both Business Banking and Wholesale Banking clients.
You detect opportunities to maximize the profitability of your existing clients, such as cross-selling, finetuning of contractual parameters, etc.
You closely monitor evolutions at sector level, on the financial markets, etc. in order to anticipate your pricing strategy.
You are excited to support the roll out of new product features, and you’re eager to participate in their development.
Playing the pivot role for internal and external stakeholders.
You are the person of contact the client turns to whenever he has questions,
concerns, or requests.
You act as a pivot between all internal (ING ComFin, ING Bank) and external (credit insurers, law firms, auditors...) stakeholders to ensure flawless execution of the contract.
You divide your workplace between our Brussels’ Head Office and the Business Centers in your region, where you earn recognition as a working capital expert.
You are the face of ComFin (through roadshows, training sessions, workshops, etc. towards bank colleagues or business associations), and you have a genuine talent for building a large network throughout all levels of the business landscape.

What we’re looking for:

In other words, you strive to bring fresh ideas to life and embrace challenges in a fast-changing and complex environment. You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals. You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
As a Relationship Manager you will also need:
a master Degree in Economics or Law, or equal by (proven) experience
(preferably) 3 years of relevant experience in an external commercial function
a natural interest in people and in companies, in what they do and dream of
perfect knowledge of Dutch as you will manage a client portfolio in Flanders, but also
very good oral and written skills in English (for decision packs, formal
communication, contractual documentation) and good knowledge of French
a real proactive mindset: you avoid commercial or operational issues by anticipation
a real team player mentality, but with the ability to also work independently
strong organization skills and strictness to deadlines
any previous experience in asset based lending is considered a great advantage
