Do you want to make the difference for our customers thanks to our agile way of working? Then read what comes next because Tribe Credit Risk might very well become your future employer.

A day in your life as a Credit Decision Journey Expert driving our Credit Decision Processes
With a strong end-to-end perspective, you design, implement and monitor credit decision processes to support ING’s growth ambitions. You translate business needs and regulatory or policy standards into sound credit risk policies and clear implementation requirements. In doing so, you use relevant analytical insights and understand how credit decision models contribute to effective, prudent and increasingly automated decisioning.
Your curiosity for Business Banking customers lending journeys will make you a champion in that role. You combine this unique ability to translate customers’ needs and business requirements into sound credit risk policies, while balancing perspective with your risk hat on. Your drive for change and willingness to challenge the status quo are critical to succeeding in this role. You are a structured problem-solver who can assess policy and process gaps, clarify business needs and translate them into practical requirements. You combine analytical thinking with sound judgement, clear communication and effective collaboration to drive change from design through implementation. Your eye for detail helps ensure that policies are complete, consistent and correctly embedded in our credit decision processes.

In particular, you will:
• Design credit decision policies and processes, drive their implementation and
continuously evaluate their relevance and effectiveness in supporting safe growth and automated decisioning.
• Perform policy and process gap analyses against regulatory requirements, Group standards, business strategy and existing decision journeys, and translate identified gaps into clear remediation actions.
• Understand customer journeys and business needs, challenge them against sound risk principles, and convert them into clear, consistent and testable business requirements.
• Coordinate requirements throughout design, implementation and validation, ensuring traceability from policy intent to the operational decision process.
• Work closely with Business stakeholders to align design and implementation with commercial strategy, ambitions and value propositions.
• Collaborate with credit risk model and analytics experts, using relevant insights and understanding model implications when shaping policies and decision rules.
• Engage with Group colleagues to co-create processes that are consistent with
applicable standards.

• Act responsibly and proactively with an end-to-end perspective to ensure the sound design, implementation and application of credit risk policies in decision journeys.
• Assess alternative process and policy options, resolve ambiguities and propose workable solutions while ensuring compliance with applicable standards.
• Clearly communicate progress, decisions, dependencies and the way forward,
supported by effective project management and delivery tracking.

We look for
A colleague with a talent for taking it on and making it happen, enthusiasm for helping others to be successful and a knack for always being a step ahead. In other words, you strive to bring fresh ideas to life and embrace challenges in a fast changing and complex environment. You are a naturally collaborative person who listens and invests in others to achieve common goals. You love to challenge the status quo and are eager to propose creative solutions to problems.
