Lending Intern (Corporate Transaction Management)

And you have or are … 

·       finishing studies in econometrics, business economics, financial engineering, and/or CFA or equivalent academics

·       strong with excel and powerpoint presentations

·       commercial drive, pro-active mindset and analytical skills 

·       team spirit

·       fluency in written and spoken English, with Dutch and/or French as a surplus 

… then you may well be our new Intern Corporate Transaction Management.

Your role … 

·       you will support colleagues in credit-related matters, including in life management (annual reviews, waivers,..) and new requests.

·       you will support colleagues in preparing credit packages according to ING policy

·       you will acquire knowledge on corporate lending products, ING policies and the general economic environment

·       You will have the opportunity to build out a network with Wholesale Banking.

·       you will provide further support to the Corporate Transaction Management team as appropriate as well as support the Management Team in strategic projects

ING’s Corporate Transaction Management team in Belgium provides lending solutions to ING’s corporate clients across a wide number of sectors (manufacturing & heavy industries, transport & Logistics, automotive, TMT & healthcare, commodities, food & agri, financial institutions) based in Belgium. We have arranged numerous corporate lending facilities (bilateral, club-deal and syndicated) and are involved in all credit-related matters of the client relationship (including financial markets and transaction services products).

We offer internships with a duration of min. 4 to 6 months. If your school requires a mandatory internship that is shorter, you can combine it with a voluntary internship period at ING to reach a total of 4 to 6 months.
