At ING, we are transforming the future of lending through advanced Data Solutions and making our Data Ready for use. We’re looking for an experienced and people-focused Product Lead to join the Data Management & Platform services product area with Tribe Lending.

In this role, you lead a team of Data Analysts & Customer Journey experts in the Philippines, with a functional responsibility for our colleagues in Romania. You will focus on team enablement, coaching, and shaping how people work together across the product area. Your leadership will ensure consistent ways of working, high engagement, and effective delivery of all Lending data to our in- and outside consumers. The Data area is key in providing Ready for use data and solutions that will enable other teams in- and outside lending to have the right insights, ensure risk compliance and a faster time to yes with a focus on clients, growth and scalability.

Reporting directly to the Product Area Lead- Data Management & Platform services, you will act as the connector who ensures that our people and teams can work at their best.

The Team

You will lead a cross-functional group- mainly Data Analysts & Customer journey experts and will be supported by change professionals from another team. Together, with the other Product lead in the area you’’ll contribute to ING’s Data agenda and WB Lending’s Data Strategy, Delivering a scalable Data Platform, clear Data management frameworks, Financial capturing solution and analytics capabilities. Your role is to ensure the Lending Data delivery teams have the right environment, tools, and coaching to succeed.

Roles and responsibilities
As Product lead, you will:

  • Lead and coach a team of 12+ individual contributors (primarily DAs), supporting their growth and development
  • Ensure how we work together is clear, consistent, and effective across the product area
  • Foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and alignment across teams
  • Enable DAs to apply customer-centric, value-driven, and risk-aware approaches
  • Provide clarity on priorities and remove obstacles so teams can focus on delivering value
  • Safeguard team engagement, motivation, and a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with product Area Lead, Product Managers, and other leads to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Act as a role model for ING’s Orange Code behaviours- take it on and make it happen, help others succeed, and always stay one step ahead.

The skills and experience we’re seeking:

  • Proven leadership experience managing Data Analysts or similar roles
  • Strong coaching skills and the ability to enable others to succeed
  • Experience leading teams of 10+ individual contributors in a complex environment
  • Familiarity with Data delivery, Risk models, Regulatory disclosures and Analytics capabilities.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong experience with Agile Way of Working and delivery management
  • A mindset that combined team enablement, people development, and execution focus
  • Change champion for AI first mindset in the teams and product area
