Role summary

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to ING’s growing real estate franchise across APAC. You’ll support client relationships, originate new business, and help structure transactions—working closely with global product and sector teams. It’s a hands-on role requiring curiosity, ownership, and a strong client-first mindset.

About the team

You’ll be part of a collaborative, growth-oriented team focused on expanding ING’s real estate coverage across Asia-Pacific. The team works closely with cross-border stakeholders and product specialists, combining sector expertise with global capabilities to deliver tailored client solutions.

What you’ll do

  • Build and manage client relationships, acting as a trusted point of contact
  • Support and originate new business opportunities across lending, markets, and advisory
  • Lead structuring and execution of straightforward deals; support more complex transactions
  • Partner with internal teams (risk, legal, product) to ensure smooth deal execution
  • Develop client pitches, presentations, and strategic materials
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and sustainability transitions in real estate
  • Contribute to team performance across financial and non-financial KPIs

What you’ll bring

  • Experience in real estate banking, including deal origination and structuring
  • Background in client relationship management within a financial institution
  • Understanding of financial products (lending, capital markets, transaction banking)
  • Strong knowledge of commercial real estate sector dynamics and trends
  • 3+ years (Associate) or 5+ years (VP) in a front-office banking role
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Collaborative mindset with strong learning agility and resilience
  • Degree in a relevant field (postgraduate qualification is a plus)
  • Additional language skills are an advantage
