Job Description

  • Deal with all day-to-day regulatory and AML issues
  • Advise and assist business and operational management on regulatory and AML issues and changes, and follow up the implementation of the requirements within the deadlines
  • AML monitoring of designated business activities and detailed rules based programs to be developed to cover periodical reviews
  • Support business development and new products, ensuring compliance with all applicable AML regulations.
  • Review/update all AML related procedures/manual
  • Plan and deliver compliance induction and business specific compliance (include FEC) training.
  • Remain conversant with AML related local regulations and regulatory developments, lobbying/responding to consultation with regulatory bodies where requested.
  • Submit regular FEC/Compliance report, and any requested reports to regional/global and regulator without delay.
  • Act as AML manger and help/monitor on FEC/CDD related events, including CDD advice, the alert investigator for FMF, FFF, FCRM and 2LoD QA as well as any system upgrade.
  • Conduct, review and provide comment on the risk assessment for both Compliance and FEC topics.
  • Assist internal/external audits and regulator inspection; follow up the issues and remediations if any.
  • Assess the regulation publications and take relevant actions if needed.
  • Support local Head of Compliance on tasks related to Compliance such as Conduct Compliance, Integrated Compliance, DPO as well as Quality Assurance related plans, reports, or assessment, etc.
  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as requested by local Head of Compliance and Regional Compliance
  • Review on incoming official letters and distribute to relevant departments; assign the outgoing official letter number and keep the copy of all outgoing letters.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of AML/FCC-related experience within the banking, securities, or insurance industry.
  • Professional certification such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of AML/CFT regulations, sanctions compliance, and financial crime risk management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
