Job description, responsibilities and duties

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining business application lifecycle – communication with vendor, implementation of changes, ensuring the application meets business requirements 
  • Performing administrative tasks on Windows Server/SQL DB stack (e.g., log analysis, service monitoring, basic SQL troubleshooting, configuration checks) and deployment tasks via Azure Pipeline 
  • Providing functional and technical support to ING internal end users for the applications used world-wide as the backbone system of the bank 
  • Participating in executing ITIL process, such as incident, change, problem management 
  • Implementing security measures based e.g. vulnerability management process outcomes, and responding to new threats 
  • Working closely with global ING support teams 
  • Writing detailed technical documentation and keeping it up to date 
  • Executing daily bank procedures 



The successful candidate has: 

  • Willingness to learn 
  • Strong technical mindset to be able to provide application support to other IT professionals.  
  • 1+ years of experience with Windows based technologies 
  • 1+ years of experience with any SQL server ( advanced user )
  • 1+ years of experience with Powershell scripting
  • Problem-solving skills; You’re not satisfied with quick fixes. You seek to quickly identify technical issues and “own the problem until it’s solved.” 
  • Basic awareness of security concepts and willingness to learn how to identify and mitigate risks 
  • Self-driven approach and ready to take on responsibility 
  • Ability to obtain accurate and complete information from end-users to identify their needs and problems and develop responses and solutions

English - Advanced (C1)

1896 EUR/month

*By legal requirement we are providingthe informationabout the basic wage component (minimum salary) for the advertised position. Based on your experience/profile, the final financial conditions will be the subject to discuss and negotiate at the personal interview, however, not less than above mentioned minimum salary component.
