The team and product

The Content Processing chapter of Intelligent Automation is responsible for developing and maintaining content extraction, content validation, content transformation and translation of the Enterprise Content & Automation tribe.

Our platform offers a comprehensive set of capabilities that enable digitalization of end-to-end customer and employee journeys within ING. The capabilities are served via a contribution model and a service catalogue approach powered by multiple technologies. It consists of multiple services (Content Transformation, Content Classification, Content Extraction, Translation etc.) each with its own set of sub-services. Their underlying technologies are abstracted from the consumers. This approach enables the consumers to select the service they need, as the services are designed to be consumed independently.

As a chapter lead, you will play a crucial role in enhancing and evolving this platform together with the team, contributing to its scalability, performance and user experience.

You will guide a diverse and dynamic team consisting of 11 individuals of various nationalities, skill profile and levels on a DevOps culture. As a chapter lead you are fostering a collaborative environment where knowledge sharing, creativity, and continuous learning are at the core. You are responsible for the personal development of all chapter members and will do target settings and evaluations with them.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge and experience in designing, building, and enhancing our application landscape. You will be leading in shaping the engineering culture of the chapter and opportunity to improve how the area is servicing the capabilities. As a chapter lead, you will also guide the team towards engineering practices which contribute to improving security, scalability and resiliency.

Lastly, you will be part of the management team of Intelligent Automation and will work closely together with the other chapter leads in the area.
