Role Overview:

As a frontend engineer, you play a pivotal role in enhancing our Business Banking products, ensuring they are intuitive, personalized, and efficient. Collaborating closely with product owners, designers, and customer journey experts, you conceptualize and implement innovative solutions while enhancing existing banking functionalities. You maintain code quality through meticulous code reviews and the implementation of rigorous unit and integration tests. What you will be doing:

  • Developing user interfaces and products integrating seamlessly with our Backoffice system using frontend technologies (web-components using lit-html).
  • Uphold a high standard of code quality through code reviews, testing, and adherence to best practices.
  • Keep the different libraries up to date and maintain the frontend applications.
  • Contribute to improving the quality of the frontend applications.
  • You keep your colleagues up to date, leave no questions regarding regulations and security unanswered, and emphasize the importance of constructive and appreciative exchange

What you bring to the table:

  • Degree in (media) computer science or a comparable qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in Frontend development and Javascript. Experience with React.js and Typescript, Vue.js is an advantage.
  • Experience with state management techniques as well as testing patterns (from unit to e2e).
  • Ability to integrate different data fetching techniques in the application.
  • An inclination towards writing and maintaining consistent and clear documentation for other developers and stakeholders.
  • Very good abstraction and analysis skills.
  • Solution-oriented, structured, passion for learning new things and enjoy working in a team.
  • Experience with DevOps pipelines, scripting, and Bash proficiency is advantageous
  • Very good written and spoken English
