Within ‘Finance’, the cost management team is part of the CoE Cost Management and Advice, which is managing the end-to-end cost chain of the bank (from Request to pay to forecasting).

The team consists of 20 members in Brussels. Furthermore, we receive support from our Hub in The Philippines. We work in a hybrid setup: 50% working from home and 50% at the office.

The team manages the entire operational and accounting process related to the general expenses of the bank : request management process, accounts payable (incoming invoice), accounts receivable (outgoing invoices), fixed assets, cost and tax accounting….

As Finance Accounting & Reporting specialist, you will be supporting the closing activities related to costs and tax accounting, including amongst others :

· “Run” the monthly closing process that requires that all costs and tax are properly recorded in our ledger

· Prepare sign-offs, explain trends and perform (technical) reviews

· Perform Ad hoc analysis / in-depth analytical reviews based on requests from both internal and external stakeholders (internal/ external audit, ORM, regulators, ING Group Finance, etc.)

· Monitor pro-actively continuous improvements in data and processes and implement changes

· Perform key (Sox-) controls and pro-actively assess risk areas

· Maintain and improve the internal Finance control framework.

As a Financial Accounting & Reporting specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

· Be responsible for the end to-end-accounting follow-up in several domains (fixed assets, general provisions, taxes,…)

· Interact with a broad range of local stakeholders (such Local Finance teams, HR, Tax, CREFS, Legal department, …) or global stakeholders (Group Finance)
