A day in the life of an IT Integrator

  • Leading the integration of (complex) IT projects, ensuring seamless communication and alignment among all teams and stakeholders.
  • Understanding business needs and the IT solutions (designed by solution architects), striking the right balance between them for effective and timely delivery. 
  • Transforming solution designs into actionable deliverables and work items and assigning them to responsible teams.
  • Creating and managing comprehensive project plans, delivery follow-up boards, and conducting regular follow-up meetings.
  • Supporting teams to deliver high-quality results on time, while helping to remove barriers and impediments.
  • Regular reporting to stakeholders (business and IT), raising capacity concerns, and requesting prioritization when necessary.

  • Communicating clearly with stakeholders, providing updates, raising concerns, and ensuring alignment on priorities and capacity.
  • Collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams to resolve integration challenges and align IT solutions with business objectives.
  • Identifying internal and external dependencies to ensure smooth project delivery, proactively addressing potential blockers and mitigating risks.
  • Collaborating with risk managers to contribute to project risk assessments, ensuring the delivery of secure solutions that protect all organizational data.
  • Adapting to evolving business needs and demonstrating flexibility in response to changes, ensuring project timelines are adjusted and solutions are re-evaluated to maintain progress and meet objectives.
  • Maintaining a helicopter view of all project deliverables to ensure no tasks are overlooked and proactively reminding teams of deadlines to keep the project on track.
  • Finding innovative ways to drive progress and remove impediments.

The team

You will be part of the Enterprise Content & Automation tribe, delivering capabilities and services related to Enterprise Content Management to enable digitalization of ING’s customer journeys through content capture, content delivery, archiving and storage services.

Within your chapter, you'll collaborate with a talented team comprising IT Integrators, Solution Architects, and IT Business Analysts. When implementing solutions, you'll work alongside these colleagues as well as Customer Journey Experts, Squad Masters, Dev/Ops Engineers, Test Managers, and more.
