Local Product Manager (CJE – Product Management II-III)

Your role & work environment

The local product manager will define and drive local strategy in close partnership with the global product tribes, the local sales organisation, the local product tribes, and local operational teams.

You will improve products, pricing, processes, documentation, and tooling to enable our internationally active clients to experience ING as a true partner to their business and as one bank across the entire ING network.

You will work together with the local sales team to improve ING’s offer in Belgium and identify opportunities to better serve and delight our clients, while continuously looking for efficiency improvements. You will translate our strategy and changing customer behavior into business outcomes and ensure you stay on track with the focus on the right priorities. You will proactively anticipate dependencies and collaborate across the entire organisation to ensure successful roll-out of our strategy.

You will report hierarchically to the Head of Strategic Change.

Your key responsibilities are:

  • You are the go-to person for local and global teams, working closely with them to optimize processes, manage risks, and implement changes.
  • You lead the successful local roll-out of centrally designed WB solutions, such as InsideBusiness Trade and LoanIQ migration.
  • You ensure a seamless customer experience throughout the entire journey, from pre-sales to onboarding and beyond.
  • Stay ahead of the curve by continuously monitoring market trends and regulatory changes within your portfolio scope.
  • You build and nurture cross-border relationships between relevant teams and stakeholders, fostering collaboration and unity.
