The Mission

The word ‘Broadway’ usually has us thinking of theatrical performances, and the bustle that drives tourists and locals to Midtown Manhattan. But to Financial Markets &Global Treasury, the word ‘Broadway’ stands for the gateway to ING’s Foreign Exchange and Money Market trades and it’s equally spectacular.

ING is looking for driven IT DevOps Engineer, with a focus on quality and delivery, to work on the FX and Money Markets trading platforms. The in-house built high-performance pricing systems and interfaces, together with the vendor-built trading/quoting systems, time-series databases and complex event processing engines are key platforms for the real-time low-latency landscape in scope of the growing Financial Markets domain.

Platform main activity streams:

  • Trading: Pricing & hedging for external- and internal trades.
  • Sales: Request for Quotes and streaming prices to clients, and order execution.
  • ·Global Treasury: Service internal clients (Treasury desks and ING entities) for hedging liquidity & risk and/or funding.

As an IT Ops Functional Engineer in the eFX Team, you will excel in maintaining and enhancing in all aspects the Front-Office Trading system. This will include analysis, design and test of code changes and close cooperation with the Product Owner and with the Developers to help resolve Production issues, as well as add new features for the system to address various business or regulatory requirements.

As part of a Capability squad, you will work in a cross-border environment in an Agile/Scrum way, on the backlog prioritized by a Product Owner, business stakeholders and engineers from related teams (Vendor, Murex, Calypso, Regulatory).
