Business Manager to the Country Head – ING Dublin
The Business Manager to the Country Head will support the various strategic and operational activities.
Business Performance, Financial Planning & Control
• Develop, deliver, and improve business financial performance management metrics
• Work with relevant business functions to develop and maintain branch-wide business pipeline MI and processes
• Work in tandem with businesses and WB Finance to develop the dynamic plan and rolling forecasts
Business strategy and communication
• Support the Country Head in business analysis underpinning branch strategy setting
• Critically analyse opportunities and prepare formal presentations for stakeholder review
• Coordinate the delivery of Country Head messaging in internal and external presentation material, including crafting of messages and close liaison with the comms team to maximise effectiveness of their delivery
Regulatory
• Support the regulatory agenda of the branch, including coordinating materials for regulatory meetings and other interactions with regulators, contributing to the coordination of governance meetings chaired by the Country Head
Branch and bank wide initiatives
• Support the Country Head in the design and execution of regulatory, business and other initiatives at the branch level – CAS, group, regulator etc
• Other BAU admin and project related work as required
• Work closely with the local HR function on the delivery of the HR agenda.
Candidate Profile
Qualification/Education
• Essential: University level education
• Desirable: Primary / Master’s degree in finance or equivalent
Experience/Skills
• You have strong analytical skills, and the ability to learn quickly with a keen interest in understanding of the regulatory landscape and developing the strategic commercial direction of the branch.
• You have strongly developed communication skills and organizational capabilities with the ability to adapt to a fast-changing environment and to embrace change.
• You are a naturally collaborative person and can effectively operate within our matrix organization.
• You are not afraid to challenge the status quo and are always looking for ways to create efficiency.
