ING Luxembourg is looking for a Senior KYC within the Wholesale Banking Department. As a Senior KYC, you are playing different roles to ensure the proper function of the team.

Your Responsibilities and duties:

  • Supervising a group of analysts and managing the daily work
  • Monitoring team performance, while ensuring the working tools are kept up-to-date
  • Preparing reports and proper follow up to ensure goals are achieved
  • Control and validation of the files prepared by the analysts
  • Understanding and implementation of KYC standards, guidelines, policies and procedure
  • Referee for the analysts on any questions related to the Wholesale structures and / or on local and group policies and procedures
  • Acting as Single Point of Contact to appropriately route all queries for dedicated clients
  • Analyze AML risks associated with the client from a technical perspective, identify and escalate potential risks and operational issues as appropriate
  • Confidential handling and maintenance of sensitive client data and documentation
  • Regularly interact with clients and internal stakeholders for clarification of AML/KYC Requirements
  • Assisting the Department’s head

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree and/or Graduate Degree
  • 5 years of experience in the financial industry in Luxembourg with proven exposure to AML matters, managing AML/KYC aspect
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong research, analytical and comprehension skills, with ability to analyze large amounts of data
  • Client focused with strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines against a high-volume work schedule
  • Ability to grasp/learn concepts, procedures and accept feedback, and use it to build deeper knowledge of processes and client relationships through strong partnership with the client-facing team
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team in a fast-paced production environment
  • Capacity of managing and motivating team members
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Languages:

  • Should be able to communicate effectively in English. Working in French is an asset
