Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have an extensive background in Agile methodologies, Linux scripting, and Azure DevOps pipelines, along with deep expertise in Oracle RDBMS and SQL. This role requires a proactive leader with a keen eye for monitoring, security management, and ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the implementation and management of Agile methods and Scrum practices.
  • Develop and maintain complex Linux (bash) scripts for automation and process improvement.
  • Design, build, and maintain Azure DevOps pipelines (or similar CI/CD tools).
  • Manage and optimize Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher, including Oracle SQL.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure observability using SRE principles.
  • Handle vulnerability management and patching to maintain system security.
  • Oversee ITIL processes, including incident, problem, and change management.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Agile methods and Scrum.
  • Strong Linux (bash) scripting capabilities.
  • Extensive experience with Azure DevOps pipelines (or similar CI/CD tools).
  • Deep expertise in Oracle RDBMS 12c or higher and Oracle SQL.
  • Proven experience in monitoring, alerting, and observability (SRE).
  • Knowledge of vulnerability management and patching.
  • Solid understanding of security management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes: incident, problem, and change management.
  • Leadership and mentoring skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

  • Experience with Kafka (cluster management, Kafka connect, schema registry, etc.).
  • Skills in visualization tools like Grafana, Elastic, and Kibana.
  • Experience working in a complex, corporate environment.
  • Understanding of Database Change Data Capture concepts and Oracle Goldengate.
  • Knowledge of Oracle Data Integrator 12c or any ETL tool.
  • Experience in lending and financial systems.
  • Familiarity with issue trackers like JIRA and ServiceNow.
  • Proficiency in collaboration tools like Confluence.
  • Experience with batch scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of file transfer protocols like XFB.
