Responsibilities:

  • Identifying appropriate remediation approach by performing in depth analysis of complex problems related to AML processes and tooling.
  • Collaborating closely with Remediation Team, Local and Global Compliance representatives.
  • Preparing remediation requirements for data retrieval and preparation and supporting relevant Data Teams in execution of such requirements.
  • Identifying and analyzing the business issues in GKYC Remediation and defining solutions for identified issues
  • Supporting governance and oversight of GKYC Remediation e2e process
  • Acting as a team player by coordinating and supporting colleagues in different streams and provide relevant backup
  • Performing ad-hoc analysis to support the decisions in the process related changes

Mandatory requirements

  • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience working in Anti Money Laundering area (TM, CDD, Screening)
  • Ability to understand and propose solutions for complex problems related to AML.
  • Strong understanding of TM and CDD systems used within financial organisations
  • Strong visual design and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to tailor communications for a specific audience.
  • Ability to work independently, handle high priority deliverables with quick turnaround and execute planned/ad-hoc analysis with minimal guidance
  • Ability to take initiative, work without supervision and begin projects independently navigating through ambiguity and simplifying complexity without losing essence
  • Master's or Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent level through working experience.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.

Additional valuable skills:

  • Knowledge of Data Visualization software, such as Microsoft Power BI.
  • Knowledge of programming language (e.g. Python)
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Experience in remediations projects and/or workstreams.
  • Relevant KYC certification, such as ACAMS, ICA
  • For ING Internal candidates:
    • Good understanding of ING TM data infrastructure
    • Experience from Data Analytics Teams/TM Operations/CDD Operations
