Job Description:

The Real Estate team in Italy (“RE Italy”) originates and executes cash flow based financing structures in the Real Estate sector. The selected candidate will join a team of 5 professionals for 6 months, supporting in the daily activities by: (i) supporting in the structuring of new transactions;  (ii) supporting the Transaction Management team during the execution phase by working on the preparation of internal ratings, cash flow models and credit analysis; (iii) liaising with Portfolio Management team for  loan monitoring tasks after financial closing, (iv) liaising with the Risk Management and Legal department and (v) when necessary, attend RE EMEA commercial committees and perform necessary related tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep up to date with market, industry etc. trends and developments, analyse external reports and documentation posted on external sites, and provide team members/other stakeholders with brief summaries of the main points;
  • Draft internal notes and keep team members/stakeholders informed and up to date on material developments;
  • Analyse new financing teasers received from clients;
  • Attend assets site visits with other team members;
  • Prepare ppt presentations on new commercial proposals and any other RE related topic for internal and or external stakeholders ;
  • Manage electronic documents and online storage of project documentation, including legal documents, borrowers' reporting information and waivers/consents related documentation;
  • Cross-check key reporting against data stored in the electronic document management database, and update information as and when necessary;
  • Perform monitoring tasks if and when required.

Educational and Work experience/ Qualifications:

  • University /graduate (or student close to graduation) with degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration and/or with training in financial analysis (courses on Real Estate Finance will be considered a plus)
  • Proven analytical skills
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Tools (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint) and in particular Excel
  • Fluency in English and Italian are a must.
