Job Description:

Work with the Loan Distribution Group on syndicated lending activities for the Commodities, Food & Agriculture team. Coordinate and lead transactions and projects. Analyze market data, comparables, and trends to provide guidance on pricing and structures for a variety of new transaction scenarios including borrowing base, project financings, acquisition financings, recapitalizations, and refinancings. Prepare materials to assist in obtaining underwriting and “best-efforts” transaction approvals. Assist in the preparation of transaction marketing materials including confidential information memoranda and lender presentations. Assist in conducting in depth credit analysis of borrowers/clients. Develop and execute loan distribution strategies with targeted investors. Oversee the information and access of data rooms. Prepare market research presentations. Manage transaction and departmental reporting and record keeping via our Debt Domain MIS. Interact directly with global colleagues across the international platform, senior management, other groups within ING and client management teams.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field and minimum 5 years of experience of Analyst, Associate, or VP level banking experience. Must have experience working with the following: Lending, investment banking and loan structuring for companies in Food and Agriculture sector; portfolio management and transaction origination; managing local and international client relationships; preparing financial projections in Excel based on historical company data and key assumptions; food & agriculture sector experience including seasonal industry needs; structuring tailored financing solutions to commodity companies; and preparing credit packages including sector analysis, financial analysis, and elaboration of financial projections.
