Reporting to the Release/Program Delivery Lead – Core Banking, you will take ownership of the end-to-end delivery of Originations and Servicing within our largest transformation program. This critical leadership role requires strategic execution, hands-on expertise, and the ability to drive change at scale. You will work across the full software delivery lifecycle across business design, solution architecture and technical delivery.

What you’ll do …

  • End to end execution of the Originations or Servicing (Transactional Core Banking) delivery streams including delivery planning, mobilisation, and delivery execution across full software delivery lifecycle.
  • Work and collaborate with ING Global and local platform and tribe teams for the effective delivery outcome of the Originations and Servicing scope expected outcomes.
  • Support the Head of Business Design, Enterprise Architects and Tech Delivery Director with collaboration across all relevant stakeholders within ING (Business, Technology, Operations, Finance, Risk) to ensure the stream delivers to agreed objectives and defined scope outcomes.
  • Lead and co-ordinate delivery per schedule and budget of the assigned release scope outcomes (multiple in parallel possible), by managing program interdependencies, constraints, and resource allocations of the Core Banking program.
  • Support project audit artefacts and deliverables as per the IBAL methodology, framework.
  • Reduce manual work by identifying opportunities for automation and drive implementation.

What we’re looking for…

  • Proven experience of working on or leading similar core banking transformation program or large organisation wide transformation progress.
  • Proven experience in leading large teams working across the organisation and managing different stakeholder groups including executive level.
  • Proven experience in working with delivery partner resources (onshore/offshore) and stakeholders in different time zones.
  • Experience in applying a structured methodology and leading change management activities aligned to a project.
  • Relevant Project Management Certification (PMI, Prince2, AIPM)
  • Advanced stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels.
  • Demonstrated capability to deliver multiple concurrent projects
