Global Communications, Brand and Marcom Lead for ING Hubs



ING Hub is hiring Global Communications, Brand and Marcom Lead for ING Hubs! This role has the flexibility to be based in one of the following locations: Poland, Romania or Slovakia.

We are looking for you if you:

  • have degree-level qualification, preferably in Communication or Marketing
  • have 10+ years of experience in a comparable role in an (international) organisation with a large diversity of stakeholders, including vast experience in Tech and the shared service industries and financial communications.
  • are fluent in written and spoken English
  • have stakeholder management and advisory skills: you can build connections and maintain relationships with important stakeholders up to and including board level. You’re also experienced in managing multiple stakeholders across functions and locations
  • have strong project management skills (executing a project plan within time and budget) and can drive marketing and communications excellence.
  • have experience with audience research and reporting.
  • have an innovation mindset: you are interested in new ideas and developments to engage and communicate with audiences and can contribute to building a culture of innovation within the team and the organisation.
  • have excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to engage with senior leaders and stakeholders, as well as to work collaboratively
  • know communication tools: good knowledge, understanding and experience in managing key internal and external tools such as SharePoint, Viva Engage, Stream, Spotler, and LinkedIn or a willingness to learn fast and master new skills.

Your responsibilities

  • Communications planning: create and implement global internal and/or external communications and positioning plans for ING Hubs, including a regular measurement and review cycle.
  • Activation and execution: end-to-end responsibility for the activation and execution of ING Hubs global communications plans, including project management, budget management and elements such as production, publishing and partnering. Determine the best way to deliver components of the plan, including content creation (self, team, agency), evaluate and measure for impact.
  • Stakeholder management: contribute to the structured approach towards internal stakeholders including management at ING Hubs, leaders in business lines and support functions, and with ING’s Communications, Brand & MarCom global network.
  • Leadership: take a leadership role within ING’s Communications, Brand & MarCom global network, driving collaboration to strengthen the ING Hubs narrative internally and externally across the markets. The Communication, Brand and Marcom Leads for the local Hubs in Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the Philippines and Türkiye will report functionally to this role.  
  • Personal development: pursue development reflected in individual development plans and leverage departmental training opportunities
  • Work in close collaboration and alignment with the global communication & marketing network in ING and with the communication community of the hubs (Poland, Romania, Slovakia, the Philippines and Türkiye) under a shared mission to strengthen the global ING brand.

We are seeking a senior Global Communications, Brand and Marcom Lead for ING Hubs who works cross-border, cross-discipline and cross-business to develop and drive the corporate communication and employer branding activities for ING Hubs. The role will report hierarchically to the Country Head of an ING Hubs location and functionally to the Head of Group Communications from the Global Communications, Brand and Marcom team in the head office in Amsterdam.
