The team
The Ad-Hoc Regulatory & Integrated Reporting Circle (approx. 35 FTE) is part of the Global Risk Services Tribe and works in a close collaboration with the ESG Tribe. Both tribes are part of COO Risk. The circle consists of five teams which drive a wide range of regulatory and management reporting initiatives, focusing on ESG and Credit Risk domains. One of strategic projects under our remit is Credit Risk Loan Tape (CRLT) Reporting, a regulatory requirement mandated by the European Central Bank (ECB).

Roles & Responsibilities

The team is tasked to design and implement a CRLT capability that will enable ING to meet its regulatory requirements (to deliver comprehensive portfolio description within predetermined timeline) and will also add business value to the bank. We are seeking for a Reporting Specialist to join the development of an automated reporting solution for CRLT. This is a unique opportunity to join a strategic project and shape its success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Regulatory Analysis: Interpret and analyse regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure compliance and accuracy.

  • Defining Reporting Requirements: Collaborate with data sourcing teams to establish correct, clear and robust requirements.

  • Data sourcing: data not (yet available in targeted repositories has to be manually extracted and processed.  

  • Data analysis: the team works with massive amounts of data delivered from different central and local systems.

  • Quality Assurance: Develop and enforce data quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with cross-functional teams and regulatory stakeholders.

  • Innovation & Automation: Drive efficiency through automation and best practices.

  • Documentation: Prepare clear, comprehensive functional documentation to support reporting processes and system development.

  • Expertise Development: Contribute to the growth of regulatory expertise within the team by sharing insights and best practices.

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Econometrics, Computer Science, or a related field.

    • PhD and/or Relevant Financial certification will be considered as a plus

  • Experience

    • 1 -- 5 years of relevant professional experience in banking.

    • 1 -- 5 years of experience in (Credit) Risk management / modelling.

  • Expertise

    • Solid understanding of Credit Risk concepts and related regulatory requirements.

    • Broad knowledge of data management, relational databases, and data modeling.

    • Experience in Business analysis skills, translating regulatory requirements into functional reporting specifications.

    • Hands-on experience with SAS environment (SAS Enterprise Guide).

    • CRLT (reporting) knowledge is a plus.

  • Skills

    • Strong collaborative team player, able to work across multiple virtual teams.

    • Ability to communicate complex technical content to business and functional audiences.

    • Eagerness to learn and proactively acquire knowledge.

    • Proficiency in spoken and written English (C1 level).
