The Team:
As a key member of our Global Calypso Team, you will collaborate with a diverse group of experienced professionals in an agile environment. You’ll work on strategic projects that ensure ING remains at the forefront of Financial Market Standards while continuously enhancing our systems. Together, we strive for operational excellence, enabling our commercial teams to excel in their trades and maintain our competitive edge.
Roles and Responsibilities:
In this role, your impact will be significant. You will work on high-stakes projects and improve our system's functionality with a focus on results. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Collaboratingwith the Product Owner to refine functional specifications and translate them into application features.
- UtilizingCalypso, Java, and other tools to develop and implement requested features efficiently.
- Leadingstrategic projects and coordinating efforts with IT teams across different regions when needed.
- Participatingin DevOps teams to support business users and stakeholders globally.
- Providingrecommendations to enhance development tools and processes to improve efficiency.
- ApplyingAgile methodologies in bi-weekly sprints to deliver results and continuously iterate on solutions.
How to Succeed:

- Possessa minimum of 5 years of hands-on Calypso experience.
- Demonstratestrong knowledge of Calypso back-office operations, including message setups and workflows.
- Exhibitadvanced Java programming skills and a basic understanding of payment processing.
- Showcasestrong analytical capabilities to design end-to-end solutions.
- Embracea continuous learning mindset and be proactive in complex projects.
- Communicateeffectively with business users and stakeholders across various geographical regions.
