ING WB Associate Commercial Office (CCO)

Apply now

We are seeking a smart and ambitious colleague who will work within the Chief Commercial Office (CCO) team to develop and execute ING WB’s commercial strategy. The candidate will drive WB’s commercial agenda around Commercial Excellence, Commercial approval (Greenlight) process, Strategy (ING Difference, KPI’s and growth agenda) and steering on the underlying commercial data (Commercial Dashboarding).

Who are we?

The Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) team operates globally. Physically, in Amsterdam, we are located in the Cedar office in the WBMT area, working closely together with the WBMT stakeholders and the WBMT business management team.

Working environment

Our work environment is open, output driven and directly reporting into the Head of Commercial Office. We steer on commercial effectiveness within ING WB. This implies a strong focus on WBMT strategic projects like execution of the ING WB’s commercial strategy, but also the Commercial Excellence, Virtual Client Team enhancement, the Client Segmentation Framework, Commercial Dashboarding, the Greenlight Process or effectively dealing with regulatory requirements, to name a few. Through a strong data-led approach we measure, develop and execute on improvements, ultimately striving for continuous optimization of ING WB commercial effectiveness and the way of working.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the commercial execution of ING WB’s commercial strategy to drive business growth, enhance operational efficiency, and achieve organizational commercial goals
  • Provide ideas, coordinate, and execute ComEx projects while supporting research, material compilation, and the development of the ComEx Toolbox for training, workshops, and client-focused activities
  • Support in creating, designing, organizing, and structuring PowerPoint presentations, ensuring consistency and collaboration to meet goals and deadlines
  • Coordinate  and improve the Commercial Approval Process (Greenlight) from the process owner perspective: GLC Governance update and coordination, onboarding and business support
  • Maintaining the CCO Commercial Dashboard to ensure that data is up-to-date and available for Front Office teams
  • Create, design, organize, and structure all sort of data analysis around topics such as Segmentation, ING Difference, NPS, Prospects and external data linked to our WB Client franchise
  • Investigate the possibilities for ChatGPT and AI solutions related to CCO.
  • Assist in data gathering, analysis, report creation, and maintaining documentation for ComEx and other CCO reports and presentations

CCO is looking for:

A motivated self-starter with positive energy. We expect you to have a ‘can do’ mentality, taking on projects independently and, together with the CCO team, execute on them. Concretely, we expect you to:

  • Think analytical: being able to visualize data into (PowerBI) dashboard and communicate them clearly to Front Office.
  • Think conceptual: oversee commercial processes and think from a Front Office point of view how we can improve them and execute on that.
  • Think social: lead projects in conjunction with many other departments. You have a pivotal role in interacting and coordinating with various stakeholders.

Our data-led approach demands strong data analytical skills, which is the basis for everything we do. The ideal candidate balances hard skills to execute on difficult projects with an ability to translate them into a sensible commercial context to Front Office.

Qualifications:

You recognize yourself in the following personal profile:

  • We are looking for an Associate with a minimum 4 years’ experience within Wholesale Banking Sector Coverage or Product Sales
  • Open, energetic, self-starter and positively minded
  • Advanced Excel & Power Point Skills
  • Result driven: combine excellent analytical skills with real impact and project management skills
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Curious and learning attitude: pro-actively look to further develop yourself
  • Innovative and strategic thinker with an eye for detail to bring value to the team
  • Collaborative approach and good stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills in English
  • Curiosity about the AI industry and willingness to learn
  • Basic knowledge of PowerBi is a plus.
