Within Tech Finance, the platform chapter for the Global Financial Reporting System ensures that ING can meet its regulatory requirements by providing safe and reliable environments. Enabling our finance department to consolidate Financial data for internal and external purposes.

The team

As an intern you will be involved in IT risk compliance activities like monthly software patching. You will learn how this is organized and what tooling is used to meet ING minimum standards, protecting confidential data and ensuring availability for Finance users. You will also contribute to setup and improvement of Azure DevOps pipelines that are used to automate activities and to prevent the need for access to the data.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Analyze vulnerabilities on RHEL Linux platforms.
  • Patching software in close alignment with users of the platforms.
  • Maintain and improve Azure DevOps pipelines.
  • Maintain and improve documentation and standards.
  • Document relevant information.
