Personal Assistant for Finance Business Advice (24-32 hours)

We pride ourselves on our professional, supportive, and dynamic environment. We are seeking an organized and proactive management assistant, for 24 hours per week, to support the Management Team (MT) of Finance Business Advice (FBA) of ING in Netherlands.

Your key responsibilities

As management assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to senior executives, ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. Your role will involve handling a variety of tasks, including managing schedules, organizing meetings, liaising with clients, and maintaining confidential information.

Your strong organizational and communication skills, discretion and the ability to anticipate needs and proactively manage priorities.

You will be based onsite our Acanthus site, located at the Bijlmerdreef in Amsterdam. It is important that you are visible and approachable, therefor you are expected to be in the office at least 2 days a week.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Agenda management
  • Organize, prepare and schedule meetings
  • Assess priority, sensitivity and purpose of meetings and day-to-day activities
  • Issues reminders for appointments & follow up action points
  • Provide organizational, logistical, general and technical support
  • Plan off sites or offer help for team events
  • Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders, people outside ING,  and colleagues, representing the MT members in a professional manner.
  • Provide ad hoc support to the employees of the department as required for unforeseen tasks

Furthermore, you have:

  • Current residency in the Netherlands and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in Dutch and English.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience within a secretarial role. Experience in the banking or financial sector is a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • High level of organizational awareness (how to get things done in the organization) and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills, combined with cultural sensitivity, in order to work in a diverse environment
  • A conscientious, approachable, positive, proactive attitude with a professional demeanour
  • Ability to manage handle highly sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
