We are looking for a Sr. Media Manager in the Center of Expertise Communication, Brand & Marcom team. As Media Manager, you oversee the E2E paid media campaigns for a specific product/segment within the Belgian market. You work on maximizing campaign impact, in close cooperation with ING’s media and creative agencies. You have a good knowledge of Digital Marketing, including digital paid media, campaign results tracking, tagging, data analysis, as well as good notions of offline media campaigns.

You will report to the Expert Lead, work closely with Marcom, branding and business colleagues and feel comfortable managing a wide range of internal stakeholders.

The Center of Expertise Communication, Brand & Marcom

You’ll be part of the Center of Expertise (CoE) Communication, Brand & Marcom, composed of over 50 people.

 The Media Management, Marketing Intelligent & Production House teams are responsible for measuring and maximising effectiveness through insights-driven creativity and locally optimised use of media.

Media Management team oversee the E2E paid media activities for a specific product/segment of ING Belgium. They constantly work on maximizing campaign impact, in close cooperation with our media and creative agencies.

Marketing Intelligence team drive the development and dissemination of critical brand and consumer insights to support strategic decision-making across ING for internal and external customers.

Production House team being the strategic creative partner for ING BE, combining brand expertise, strategy, and creativity to deliver impactful in housed marketing communication assets.

Your responsibilities

You will be responsible for the paid media strategy, campaign development and performances for one or several products. Key is your ability to understand the needs of the business and translate these into successful campaigns and to grasp technical and data opportunities to help business forward.

Core tasks

  • Lead and define the media strategy for one or several products to further optimize KPI’s
  • Manage media campaigns (briefing, monitor set-up and optimization, reporting) and challenge the media agency on offline-online-social media strategies
  • Monitor media campaign performance, run all necessary deep dive analyses in order to better understand the market and make optimizations to meet targets KPI’s
  • Present regular mid- end reports, collect best practices and provide recommendations
  • Provide feedback to the business on paid media results and opportunities
  • Define and launch -experiments to improve the effectiveness of advertising spend
  • Advise on future technology product capabilities, help shape media roadmap
  • Work closely with different stakeholders to optimize campaigns towards defined KPIs

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or other relevant degree
  • 7-10 years professional experience in a media agency or an advertiser in media role
  • Proven experience of developing and implementing paid media strategies and running offline and digital campaigns
  • Ability to work with Adobe Real-Time CDP, Google Marketing Platform (SA360, DV360, CM), Meta / LK Business Manager and tag manager.
  • Extensive knowledge of the Belgian media & publisher landscape
  • Continuous search for optimization on everything we do to maximize impact, with a positive attitude
  • Data driven attitude: true data curiosity and the ability to derive new insights
  • Team player
  • Willingness to manage different stakeholders in every level with clear communication and reporting.
  • Strong multitasking, accuracy, and prioritizing skills in fast paced environment
  • Creative approach to problem solving; always looking for improvements
  • Excellent level in English spoken and written
